wning a yacht – as well as mooring and maintaining it – is an expensive business, which is why most sailors elect to charter a boat instead.

There are many advantages to this. One of the most obvious benefits of charter is that the boat comes with its own skipper and crew, meaning you don’t have to pay to man it. This leaves you free to soak up the sun, feel the wind in your hair, and simply enjoy life on the waters around beautiful locations like the Balearic Islands.

Our boats

As an RYA accredited training centre, the Mallorca Sailing Academy knows all there is to know about chartering boats. Every one of our instructors is friendly, experienced, and has proven track records of student success. We are also unique among sailing academies, in that we place particular emphasis on building bonds of friendship between crew members, as any experienced seaman will tell you the importance of having trust in those around you when you're out on the water.

If you're an experienced skipper, you can charter one of our modern, robust yachts and sail the gorgeous Mediterranean waters in complete luxury, safety and comfort.

Each one of our boats provides practical features, high performance, onboard intelligence, and unsurpassed style, so you can provide your family, friends, or business colleagues with an unforgettable experience. For those with little sailing experience, we can also provide an experienced skipper to oversee your voyage.

All aspects of modern cruising comfort will be available to you on our boats, including state-of-the-art galleys, spacious staterooms and salons, and incredible views of the water and landscape of the Balearics from the large windows and skylights, so you don’t miss a thing even if you're cooking or socialising below deck.

You will have plenty of opportunity to learn about and actively participate in the sailing experience. Our yachts are large, yet they manoeuvre with the nimbleness of smaller yachts due to their carefully centred sail plan and twin rudders. This makes our boats perfect for your charter and ideal for any level of RYA training.

We currently have seven Beneteau Oceanis yachts available for charter, all of which meet our high quality and safety standards. In order to get the most of your charter days, we can provide advice on where to go, such as the best places to berth, the most gorgeous scenery, unmissable events, the best places to eat on the island, and weather forecasts. We want your experience of chartering around Mallorca to be truly magical, and are willing to help you get the most from your journey.
