Whatever your ultimate sailing goal, an RYA recreational course with the Mallorca Sailing Academy will provide you with a solid foundation of knowledge and practical experience. Take what you learn through us and use it to become a skipper, sail a dinghy, join a sailboat crew, or further your education and one day become the captain of your own charter boat.
Anyone who takes part in one of Mallorca Sailing Academy’s RYA courses will learn a range of new skills under the eye of friendly, accomplished instructors in some of the most beautiful waters in the world. If you just want a taste of the sailing life, while enjoying the sun and scenery alongside your friends and family, our beginner’s course is right up your street. It will teach you the basics of sailing etiquette, ropework, navigation and on-board safety, while providing you with plenty of opportunity to soak up the rays and indulge in some good food and drink across two highly enjoyable days.
The RYA recreational course is designed specifically for beginners. No previous sailing experience or knowledge is necessary, just a can-do attitude and good physical health. Our instructors are all highly qualified and will keep you safe on the water. You will gain confidence, a new appreciation of the sailing life, and new friends who share your passion for the water.
